Rabbi Gordon Fuller

Rabbi Fuller has been our spiritual leader since July, 2004. Originally from Rabbi GordyDetroit, Rabbi Fuller has a B.A. in Human Development from Northwestern University and an M.A. in Social Work from The University of Chicago.

Although ordained only shortly before becoming our rabbi, “Rabbi Gordy” has over 20 years experience in Jewish education, both formal and informal, in many different Jewish settings. He has been in Texas since 1990, first serving as the Education Director of Congregation Shearith Israel in Dallas, followed by one year with Temple Kol Ami of Flower Mound, and then seven years with the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas as the Director of the Jewish Education Department.

Rabbi Gordy’s wife, Sharon, holds a Masters in Landscape Architecture and is currently serving as the Director of Park Planning for the City of Waco – Department of Parks and Recreation. They have two adult children. Evan, a University of Texas Plan II graduate and Ph.D. in Math from U.C. San Diego, is currently a math professor at Montclair State University in New Jersey.  He is married to Jessica and they have two daughters Maya Shlomit and Naomi  Gianna.   Eliana Holgate, also a U.T. graduate, currently teaches Special Education in Clear Lake and is working toward a Masters in Library Science at TWU. She is married to Ben Holgate and they live in Pearland, Texas.

Amanda Henson

Amanda Henson has been the office administrator since November, 2010. She is a 2007 Faye Arthurgraduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, with a BBA in Business Management. Amanda is from Crawford, Texas. She is very excited to be a part of such a welcoming congregation and looks forward to working with them each day.
