Progress may have changed the corporate complexion of Davis Brothers Printing, but one component of the company remains the same. The focus of commitment, experience and quality in which Earl R., J.C. and Jimmy founded the company prevails
as the vision of the new generation Davis Brothers leadership.

Welcome to Davis Brothers Printing

Printing techniques and technologies have changed drastically since Earl R., J.C. and Jimmy Davis launched their company in 1928. When the Davis brothers opened their doors for business, they owned one 10×15 Chandler & Price press. Even more important, they had a sharp focus on commitment, experience and quality that laid the groundwork for the years to come.

In 1932, the Davis brothers established a weekly newspaper, The Waco Record, published in Waco and McLennan County. The company progressed into a regional leader in the publishing and print industries. Then, in 1953, a devastating tornado struck Waco, killing 114 people, and destroying the majority of the city including the Davis brothers’ plant and equipment.

The same Davis brothers’ focus that directed the company for 25 years saw the founders through as they rebuilt the company from the ground up. By 1959, they were operating several small presses within a 5,000 square foot facility. Ten years later, they added a Harris 4-Unit Air Dry Web Press. Then in 1977, the company built a new 20,000 sq. ft. facility at their present location in order to accommodate future growth.

Today, Davis Brothers Printing is a national leader of print communications. The company posts annual sales exceeding $6 million, and 36 full-time employees staff the impressive 45,000 sq. ft. building.
